120 T/H Potassium Feldspar Grinding Plant Upgrade
How deploying the 2PGY1200×1000 Hydraulic Roller Crusher secured zero-iron purity and cut mineral waste.
The Problem: Iron Pollution & High Slime Waste
A major potassium feldspar washing plant was using traditional cone and hammer mills for secondary fine crushing. The high-speed impact tore off metallic iron flakes, polluting the ore (Fe2O3>0.3%) and ruining its whiteness for premium ceramics. Additionally, the violent milling crushed 22% of the brittle feldspar into useless fine mud (under 0.5mm), which was washed away as tailing waste.

2PGY1200×1000 On-Site Integration
The Solution: 2PGY Hydraulic Roller Integration
The plant replaced its impact mills with our 2PGY1200×1000 Hydraulic Double Roller Crusher. By running at a low speed (70 RPM) and compressing the rock with synchronized hydraulic pressure, the feldspar fractured cleanly along crystalline boundaries without friction flaking.
Proven Performance Data:
| Metrics | Old Milling Setup | 2PGY Roller Circuit | Net Gain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fine Mud Slime Waste | 22.5% lost as waste mud | 6.2% controlled fines | -16.3% Waste Cut |
| Iron Content ($Fe_2O_3$) | 0.34% (Stained Yellow) | 0.08% (Pure White) | Grade-A Premium |
| Downstream Mill Load | Standard Grinding Speed | Ball Mill Output +35% | 25% Energy Saved |
