Global Project Case
200TPH Bluestone Crushing Solution: High-Efficiency Aggregate Production
A high-capacity crushing flow engineered for hard, abrasive volcanic rock processing.
1. Project Overview
A premier construction aggregate supplier in Southeast Asia required a high-performance production line to process Bluestone (dense, hard basaltic rock). The primary engineering challenge was the material’s extreme Mohs hardness and abrasiveness, which typically accelerates wear on traditional equipment and compromises product grain shape. They needed a solution that balanced high throughput with low maintenance costs.
2. The HSM Engineering Solution
To guarantee long-term operational stability and superior cubic product shape, HSM engineers deployed a multi-stage crushing circuit tailored for hard rock:

Secondary Crushing: A high-efficiency Cone Crusher was selected as the secondary stage. It excels in crushing hard materials while maintaining a superior cubic flake shape for the final aggregate.

Tertiary Processing & Screening: The Double Roller Crusher and vibrating screens were used to finely adjust the sizing and classify the final products into precise commercial grades.
