Double Roller Fine Crusher is a kind of mining machinery that crushes materials by squeezing and shearing with two relatively rotating toothed or glossy rollers, which is widely used in the fine crushing operation of medium and hard materials.
Structural composition
It consists of two horizontally arranged rollers, and the roller surface can be designed as glossy, toothed or grooved surface, and the material mostly adopts high manganese steel or hard alloy surfacing (hardness of wear-resistant layer ≥ HRC55). Key components include transmission device (double or single motor drive), hydraulic/spring adjustment system, overload protection device and scraper cleaning mechanism.
Working Principle of Double Roller Fine Crusher
The material passes through the gap between the two rollers and is squeezed by the squeezing force and shear force of the rollers, and the spacing of the rollers is adjusted (accuracy ±1mm) to control the size of the discharged material. Differential rotation design (speed difference of 15%-20%) to enhance the grinding effect, reduce the rate of over-crushing (<15%). The comb plate assists in sieving to improve the uniformity of the finished product.

It can handle viscous materials with water content ≤35% (such as wet coal, asphalt) and materials with impurities (iron, gangue). Wide range of discharge size (0.5-40mm), suitable for construction aggregate, coke, ore and other medium and fine crushing needs.

Crushing limestone and granite with compressive strength ≤160MPa, feed size ≤80mm, finished product size 2-20mm.Raw Coal Quality Improvement: crushing 1000mm lumps of coal to 10-50mm at one time, overcrushing rate <5%.
Construction and Solid Waste Recycling
Recycled Aggregate Production: Concrete, bricks and tiles are crushed to 2-60mm and used for road base filling or recycled building materials. Asphalt recycling: differential rotation to reduce sticking, discharge uniformity up to 95%.
